Expertise and Experience
Our Medical Directors know how hospice care works and have experience in the industry, including management of symptom and pain control. Our Medical Directors supervise the team and collaborate with physicians to keep each patient comfortable and help them experience a quality life while under hospice care.
Our Hospice Nurse Practitioners and Hospice Nurses have worked in nursing for many years and also have experience in caring for hospice patients. These years of work have given them the necessary skillset to monitor pain management and manage other symptoms that patients often experience effectively. Nursing care is given under the guidance of the patient’s physician or the Hospice Medical Director, who is regularly updated on the patient’s condition.
Our Certified Nursing Aides give personal care to all patients. They bathe, groom, dress and feed patients as is required of them.
Our Social Workers have a masters degree, are licensed and have vast knowledge of patient advocacy and local resources and counselors. They give patients and their families professional contacts, including family counselors and resource referrals.
Our Chaplains give spiritual support to patients and their families. They work with patients to address concerns about spirituality that could impact the entire family’s quality of life.
