The Houston staff of the Accredited Hospices of America assures patients and families that we are properly prepared to handle emergency situations. We have developed adequate procedures in order to care for patients and their families during emergencies. We make patients our first priority, despite other environmental factors.
We are aware that in Houston, emergencies can happen, including employee and/or patient accidents, severe weather conditions, environmental disasters, etc.
Our leadership team is on-call 24 hours a day in case of emergencies to make sure we can continue following the proper procedures.
